The Team
Our team comprises 11 highly qualified professionals specialising in HR, Labour Relations, and Employment Law, each bringing extensive expertise and dedication to their role.
Our professionals hold recognised tertiary qualifications in fields such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, and Psychology, ensuring a strong foundation of professional knowledge. Many of our specialists are also registered with esteemed professional bodies, including the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP), Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA), and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). This combination of qualifications, professional affiliations, and practical experience enables us to provide our clients with insightful, legally sound, and effective solutions to their HR and Labour Relations needs.
Fatima van Toorn
Owner & Managing Member
Fatima van Toorn is a HR and Labour Specialist and the founder and owner of FvT HR Consulting. With 30+ years of experience in HR, Fatima specialises in HR and Labour Relations, providing strategic and operational direction for all HR-related areas.
Her specialised services include employment contract drafting, dealing with disciplinary and incapacity matters, providing assistance with CCMA matters, organisational restructuring, and drafting of HR Policies and HR Procedures.
Fatima also has a passion for facilitating labour relations training and enabling managers and HR teams to effectively navigate the complexities of managing their teams.
Fatima has a BA Degree in Counselling Psychology which enables her to deal with and mediate Labour Relations matters in a holistic manner and not only from a compliance and legal perspective.
